Rebecca Avrin
I am originally from upstate New York and spent much of my life on the East Coast, where I worked in marketing for architects and engineers. Over twenty years ago, I moved to Florida to enjoy the sunshine and to get married. My husband has since passed away.
I’ve been involved in the insurance and financial services industry since 2000. I hold degrees from the University of Vermont (B.S.) and the University of Phoenix (MBA). From my office in Safety Harbor, I offer full service for all insurance products, including auto, homeowners, boats, motorcycles, flood, business, and commercial insurance. I greatly enjoy putting together a package of insurance that fits you to a tee. At the end of the day, keeping my clients properly insured is what makes my job so fulfilling.
In my free time, I’m involved in various local organizations: I’m a member of the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce and the Safety Harbor Rotary. I’m also active with animal rescue groups, including the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Tampa Bay, the Humane Society of Pinellas, and Southeast Guide Dogs. In my personal and professional life, I’m driven to improve the lives of those around me.
I live in Clearwater and am a sports enthusiast. I swim, kayak, golf, and take an adult ballet class once a week. Jackson, my mini Australian Shepherd, keeps me busy with his personal demands for adventure. He loves to chase the geese at the local parks and play with his new-found buddies at the city’s dog park. I also have a bicolored domestic long-haired cat named Tweeds.
I’m also an artist—I enjoy visual art and do some painting and drawing. As an insurance agent, I draw from that creativity to find the best solutions for my clients. Here are a few samples of her creative works that she’d like to share with you.
